New retail solution provider 91App had officially announced its plans to go public in May, 2021. This will be the first SaaS company to go public in Taiwan. 91App has served more than 10,000 well-known brands including Family mart, PX mart and Triumph underwear. The financial results of 91APP for the past five years were satisfactory. GMV (Gross Merchandise Volume) and revenue have been positive since 2016. In 2021, annual GMV has reached 1.3 billion NTD.
Covid-19 pandemic has given a boost to online buying behavior last year, online purchases in Taiwan have increased to 8.9%. Many global brands are determined to further expand their digital sales in the coming three years. 91App will also be more focused on oversea markets, and set high expectations of themselves to become the TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Mfg. Co. Ltd.) in retail industry.
