CHARLES LUCIMA
President
Our team is led by President Charles LUCIMA, who started his business as a photographer in Los Angeles, USA and established LUCIMA studio in 2009. The studio specialized in planning and creating fashion-editorial images and videos for clients including top designers, women’s apparel companies, and modelling agencies.
While his formal education consists of BA in Economics, MBA and MA in Psychology, he utilized his mix of skill sets to align his unique style and clients’ goal from a business perspective. Soon LUCIMA studio expanded and transformed into a media company comprised of fashion media production, consulting, and photography education workshops. It was during this period that Charles provided seed capital to fund creative media artists, which paved the way for bigger scale investments through LUCIMA.

As an evolution of evaluating media investments, LUCIMA 書航投資有限公司 was founded in 2018 to further invest in primary markets (venture capital and private equity) and secondary markets (US and Asia equities) in Taipei, Taiwan.
Charles is a representation of Eastern values meets Western methodology. A self-cultivated entrepreneur, educator, artist, musician and athlete, it’s in his genetic coding to continually search for the next challenge and evolve.

Performance Optimizer
Job Description
See Wendy Rhoades (Billions). The Change Agent’s work optimizes the performance of the CEO and the rest of the company. The role requires one to manage the CEO. The difference between the Change Agent and the Executive Assistant is that the Change Agent has a more pivotal role in executing change on an individual and corporate level than the traditional Executive Assistant. The fundamental requirement of this role is to manage upwardly. Managing the superiors (specifically the CEO) is the core responsibility of the position. Therefore the Change Agent is able to keep both the pulse of the CEO along with the company and understand the dynamics between the two. Strategy and foresight are a must. Understanding the needs and trajectory of both will achieve the greatest success in the organization. The Change Agent must be able to gather any available data points and infer the conclusions and trends and also possess the ability to change the course of action for both CEO and company. This job requires skill sets that are 1/2 part intuition and 1/2 part intellect. Sensitivity to change and analysis of all available data on a frequent basis. The definition of “Intuition” includes but is not limited to possessing soft skills of communication and understanding of human dynamics. The definition of “Intellect” includes but is not limited to possessing a high degree of logic and efficacy of achieving and creating change in both a single person as well as an entire organization. To reiterate, many of the job responsibilities crossover with those of an executive assistant but the requirements for strategically managing and optimizing the CEO as a person and the organization is what sets the Change Agent.

This is an internship position in VC investment department. You will have the opportunity to meet potential portfolio companies, create reports by performing industry-related research and analysis, also prepare financial models and detailed risk assessment. We expect you to work 24 hours a week, for at least 3 to 6 months.

We are looking for an experienced Equity Analyst to undertake financial research and report on prospective investment avenues. The successful candidate will study and stay on top of economic conditions, company information and market trends to determine business, sector and industry recommendations for investment positions in equity, debt, and derivatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Investment research, preferably across Technology, Media and Telecommunications sector in Taiwan, US, China, Hong Kong.
- Utilize all resources available to formulate a view on stocks and derivatives, including information from the competitors and third-party research providers.
- Take responsibilities for project execution, including market data research, financial modeling, and drafting of investment proposal.
- Form investment proposals to support and complement other investment units within the company.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven work experience as a Equity Analyst
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- High level of initiative and motivation, with minimum supervision

Financial Executive
Job Responsibilities
- Maintaining records including ledger, invoices and receipts for incoming and outgoing payments.

Job Responsibilities
- Brand positioning for the group, annual planning and execution of marketing strategies, including finding promotion channels, copywriting, building brand awareness, and event coordinating including creative planning and execution of booth activities, as well as post-event evaluation.
- Media planning and execution for optimizing brand’s presence.
- Building and management of official social media accounts.
- Assisting in collecting and analysing industry data, and discover insight trends.

Qualifications
